      Hi Sandra
NuWallpaper is fine in bathrooms or basements with regular walls. It will stick to most smooth, flat, non-porous surfaces. If the paneling in your basement is finished and non-porous and does not have extra deep grooves between the panels, the NuWallpaper should stick just fine. Some of the grooves may still be visible as a line through the NuWallpaper. Also, if the moisture is coming through the walls and the Nuwallpaper gets wet, then it may become discolored or peel off. It is not designed to work in areas where it is getting moist. However, if it is just a bit humid then you should be fine. Best of luck with your decorating project and please let us know how it turns out!
