WallPops is pleased to announce our first collaboration of 2022 is with none other than Parisian artists, Caroline, and Bettina! Bursting with color and hand-painted artistry, this collection is the perfect way to kick off the year!

Caroline and Bettina met on a train platform in 1990. Bettina was on a train from her native Zurich, Switzerland. Working for a notorious Swiss weaver, her company asked her to go work for Paul Hargittai’s studio to acquire design techniques, but she never returned to work in Switzerland!

Caroline, who had worked for five years at this studio, was asked to pick Bettina up at the train station, where they quickly became best friends! This led to them opening their own studio in Paris a short two years later.

While they initially focused on the fashion market, Caroline and Bettina developed a unique creative environment where color played a key role. Customers from all over the world, both in fashion and home décor markets, were drawn to their collections; the hand-painted artwork, featuring an array of techniques and mediums like paint, ink, markers, wax, and their own custom materials, was and still is quite captivating!

The pair work daily from their Paris 11th arrondissement studio, where the goal is to finish one design each day. Let’s take a deeper dive into their new wallpaper collection and the intricate details you won’t want to miss!
